Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amr Abdel Salam Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the faculty held a ceremony to honor the students who participated in and won scientific and innovative projects in cooperation with Rashid Petroleum Company.

The event was attended by:

• Eng. Mohamed El-Dogheedy – Chairman and Managing Director of Rashid Petroleum Company
• Eng. Khaled Gad – Managing Director of Rashid Petroleum Company
• Dr. Ahmed Raafat – General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at the company

The collaboration resulted in the implementation of 7 applied research projects in the fields of new and renewable energy, in addition to the “Waey+” educational development platform and an intelligent system using artificial intelligence to predict equipment failures, along with the creation of a digital twin for turbines.

The winning and participating students were also honored, and commemorative shields and gifts were exchanged between the two sides.
