The program provides the undergraduate student with a comprehensive foundation in the principles and technologies of Structural Engineering and Construction Project Management. Students can specialize in one of two fields offered by the program:
Structural Engineering Concentration focuses on the design, analysis and construction of buildings, towers and other structures to ensure they can safely support various loads, such as live loads and earthquakes. It ensures structures are safe, functional, and serviceable for their intended purposes.
Construction Engineering Management Concentration provides students with a specialized focus on planning, scheduling, resource management, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, risk and safety management, contracts, and problem-solving. This concentration also emphasizes the development of management, leadership, and networking skills, equipping graduates to effectively oversee complex construction projects.
