Healthcare Services
At the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, there is a medical clinic that includes departments for internal medicine, dentistry, psychological support, and emergency services. The clinic provides medical care to meet the needs of student patients. Additionally, it organizes early detection campaigns for diabetes, hypertension, and color blindness, and offers first aid lectures for college staff. It also hosts health campaigns from the Ministry of Health, such as COVID-19 vaccinations and early detection campaigns for breast cancer.
Internal Medicine Clinic
The clinic provides medical examinations for new students every year, performs health checks, refers students for specialist consultations, conducts necessary tests and imaging at the Student Hospital, and dispenses medication. The clinic also provides medical supervision during examination periods.
Emergency Clinic
The clinic handles and treats all emergency cases, including students, faculty members, staff, and workers. Critical cases are referred via ambulance: students are sent to the Student Hospital, staff and faculty members are directed to Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, and non-permanent workers are sent to the Demerdash Hospital.
Dentistry Clinic
The dentistry clinic offers services including dental examinations, fillings, root canal treatments, tartar removal, extractions, and dental X-rays.
Psychological Support Clinic
This clinic provides psychological support for students who seek it, through a psychologist under the administrative supervision of EVOLUTION network for student wellbeing.
Ain Shams Specialized Hospital
For faculty members and staff, healthcare services are provided through Ain Shams Specialized Hospital.
