Overview
The Measurement and Evaluation Unit and the Question Banks Center were established at the faculty on January 18, 2021, based on the faculty council's decision. The unit aims to activate an internal quality assurance and development system by designing and developing academic evaluation and examination systems in line with contemporary changes, automating exams, implementing electronic tests, building question banks, and ensuring excellence in teaching and evaluation. A committee for developing various surveys and conducting statistical analyses was also formed to make feedback more effective in improving the research and educational system.
Mission
To establish and activate an internal quality assurance and development system by designing and developing evaluation and examination systems at the local and regional levels in line with contemporary changes, automating exams, implementing electronic tests, building question banks, and ensuring excellence in teaching and research.
Vision
The Measurement and Evaluation Unit aims for the faculty to become a model for educational institutions and a distinguished center for quality, becoming a leading reference and an outstanding unit for educational institutions at the local, regional, and global levels. The goal is to achieve leadership and excellence in preparing competent engineers capable of competing at the regional and international levels by improving students' levels and developing evaluation and examination systems to advance engineering education.
Organizational Structure
Based on the university's Measurement and Evaluation Unit recommendations, the unit was formed with a director, a deputy director, five permanent members, and additional members from non-represented departments to generalize the unit's objectives across all specialties Based on this, the following structure was approved:

Unit Activities
- Electronic correction of all multiple-choice questions exams and conducting statistical analyses and reports.
- Monitoring the uploading of all exam questions to the college's question banks.
- Reviewing all exam question papers to ensure they conform to the standard and approved exam paper format set by the faculty administration and ensuring all exam requirements are met.
- Designing, implementing, and launching all types of surveys in the college, conducting statistical analyses and reports on them, and submitting these reports to the relevant authorities.
Administrative Office
The unit is located on the second floor of the faculty library building, equipped with all logistics, automated devices, computers for copying, scanning, and electronic correction. A secure space for the question banks has also been prepared, containing three secure computers with question bank software. The unit provides full technical support to faculty members to remove any obstacles they may encounter when visiting the administrative office to upload their questions to the question banks or correct semester exams.
