Materials Engineering and Metallurgy Unit

Unit's Objectives

1. Assist the university in teaching, training, and research.
2. Conduct scientific research and resolving issues related to production services.
3. Carry out integrated engineering consultations, research, and studies to meet the needs of society in various engineering and industrial fields.
4. Establish, develop, and give training on leading-edge techniques.
5. Develop cultural and scientific partnerships with local and foreign universities and public institutions.

2. Acceptance tests and identification of materials grade.
3. Mechanical tests – Chemical analysis – Microscopic analysis – Galvanizing – Corrosion tests – Reliability tests.
4. Filter and casing tests for groundwater well drilling.
5. Proof test on steel equipment and products.
6. Product tests on:
   • Plates and screws implants.
   • Orthopedic equipment.
   • Surgical tools and equipment.
